History
Founded in 1976, Ken Tremblay and Vernon Gorton founded their practice with a focus on representation of their local community. Ken, raised by the same standards of compassion his father and local mailman and bar owner, Pete Tremblay exemplified, has represented hundreds of citizens from the town of Portsmouth along with thousands of cases from outside the island over the course of his forty-two year long career.
In 1996, Denita Tremblay, the daughter of Ken, graduated from the inaugural class of the Roger Williams School of Law and began working practicing with her father. After marrying in 2006 and changing her name to Rossi, she and her father combined their passion for law and deep respect for the local community and officially named the practice Tremblay & Rossi.
In 2015 after a long and graceful battle with cancer, attorney and life-long friend Vernon Gorton passed away, leaving the practice solely to Denita and Ken. Since 1976, the Tremblay family has defended their clients with the honor and respect they deserve. In 2018, the journey continues; at Tremblay Rossi, our clients represent us too.
